Sherri is a registered physiotherapist specializing in pelvic and women’s health, providing evidence-based care for individuals at all stages of life.
She founded the clinic in 2004 with a vision of creating a trusted, welcoming environment—one that has since expanded to include pelvic health care for all.
A graduate of the McMaster University School of Physiotherapy (1997), Sherri has practised in Simcoe, Norwich, Cambridge and St. Catharines in the private and public sectors. She continues to advance her expertise through ongoing education in pelvic floor physiotherapy, manual therapy, bone health, obstetrics, and women’s health.
Sherri also teaches our childbirth education classes and delivers educational community talks on pelvic health, pregnancy, menopause, and lifelong wellness, empowering individuals to better understand and care for their bodies.
She serves as Vice Chair of the Holmedale Neighbourhood Association, reflecting her commitment to community wellbeing as both a healthcare provider and local business owner. Outside the clinic, Sherri is a mom to three boys, a hockey mom, and is married to Rob McCall, a physiotherapist and entrepreneur.

Paul is a dedicated Physiotherapist with training in manual and manipulative therapy. He believes in exercise-based therapy and evidence-based hands-on therapy. Paul graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and Biology. Paul has continued not only his own education and training, but also educating others. Paul strives to educate his clients about their injuries, treatments, and exercises so that healing can continue after each appointment. He has a strong interest in sports physiotherapy, including biomechanics of running, walking, and golf. Paul is also trained in gait analysis, acupuncture and orthotic assessment and fabrication. His special interests include, but are not limited to: vertigo, dizziness, rehabilitation of transmandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and headaches.

DJ completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and graduated from McMaster University with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2018. DJ grew up in Lynden and is very excited to bring his knowledge and skills back to a local setting.
DJ’s primary focuses of treatment include education, manual therapy, and exercise – all aimed at meeting your specific goals. DJ also offers acupuncture, soft-tissue release, and various taping strategies in his treatment sessions. Feel free to ask him about any of these interventions!
When not in the clinic, you can find DJ tutoring in the McMaster Physiotherapy program, playing lacrosse, and being a dad to his two girls.

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours) from the University of Windsor and completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University.
An active lifelong athlete, Ashley played baseball and competed in track at the university level. Experiencing multiple sports-related injuries firsthand shaped her deep appreciation for the recovery process and fuels her practical, empathetic approach to care. As Ashley often says, “Don’t wait to wake up better—get treated so you can get back to work and the game of life.”
Ashley’s “game of life” is full and joyful, balancing a busy schedule, a husband, two children, and plenty of laughter.
Clinically, Ashley focuses her expertise on women’s health, with advanced experience in pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and menopause care. She is committed to ongoing education and evidence-based practice, helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident at every stage of life.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2004) and a Master of Physiotherapy (2006) from the University of Western Ontario.
Her curiosity and passion for physiotherapy have taken her across Canada, where she has worked in a variety of clinical settings and gained a broad, well-rounded perspective on patient care. In 2012, Rebecca discovered a passion for Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and has since directed her post-graduate training toward this area of practice.
Rebecca is known for her thoughtful, patient-centred approach, taking the time to listen, learn, and collaborate with her clients to help them achieve their goals.
She is also our on-site pessary educator and fitter, providing assessment, education, and ongoing support for clients managing pelvic organ prolapse and related pelvic health concerns.
Outside of the clinic, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her spouse and children, skiing, biking, and working on creative projects around the house.

Heather has been a Physiotherapist for over 30 years. She started practicing in Hamilton at McMaster University Hospital Intensive Care and accepted a Sports Medicine/Inpatient position at Brantford General Hospital. During these years she realized her interest in understanding an promoting research. This lead Heather to pursue her Master's at Western University, accept a clinical specialist role at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHSC), complete the HHSC research program, and assist in its Total Hip and Knee Replacement research. After completing this work, Heather started her own in-home physiotherapy company, while also providing contract work for complex WSIB and Insurance clients.
Heather has education and experience in orthopaedics, post-surgical therapy (hip, knee, back, neck, hand), concussion/head injury (acute/chronic), and oncology (post mastectomy, mesothelioma). Her newest venture, joining the team at Essential Physio as a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist.
When she's not practicing, Heather is an active member of her church, involved in various programs like vacation bible school. Heather finds immense joy in supporting her 2 adult children, and her community by providing rides, meals and company for those who may be lifted by such endeavors.

Matt graduated in 2021 from Washington University in St. Louis with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Over the past 4 years, he has worked with patients in orthopedics, vestibular, and pelvic health, helping them build confidence, agency, and independence in their bodies.
Now registered as a physiotherapy resident in Ontario, Matt brings strong clinical experience in treating vertigo (BPPV), pelvic pain, constipation, and sexual dysfunction, providing inclusive, gender-diverse pelvic health care for people of all genders. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s goals and lived experience.
Matt recently relocated back to Brantford and is a proud cat dad to Ophelia. A homebody at heart, he enjoys reading, cooking, gaming, and discovering new TV shows and recipes.
