WHAT IS A PESSARY FITTING?
A pessary fitting is the process of selecting and fitting a vaginal support device for individuals experiencing Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) or urinary incontinence. A pessary is a removable medical device inserted into the vagina to help support the pelvic organs and manage prolapse-related symptoms.
The fitting process involves assessing the appropriate size and type of pessary to ensure proper support, comfort, and function. Ongoing follow-up may be recommended to monitor fit, symptom response, and vaginal tissue health.
Cost
Initial Assessment Fees: $200
Pessary: $75-100
Pelvic Physiotherapy Follow-Up Appointments (30 min): $95 per visit
We offer direct billing when permitted by your insurance provider. If direct billing is not available, we will provide a receipt for you to submit for reimbursement. A physician’s note is required only if requested by your insurer.
